Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog: What is it?

The original plan was for Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog to be released exclusively online, but given the trailer’s popularity, a DVD release seems inevitable. The renowned Joss Whedon’s siblings, Zack, Jed, and Maurissa, are producing Horrible, with Joss acting as executive producer. Additionally, Joss was the creator of the hit television series Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

It was almost love at first sight. How did you become interested in it. I knew we could pull it off here in Dallas, even though Joss wrote the whole thing in a single weekend. I thought it was a great idea for people to collaborate to create a film and then release it for free online. How did you get interested in it? Its fusion of comedy, music, and superhero drama makes for an enjoyable and thought-provoking viewing experience.

This web series has something to offer everyone who enjoys musicals, superheroes, or simply good storytelling. In the years since its release, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is a brilliant illustration of what can be accomplished when skill, imagination, and a little humor are combined.
